Eragon Book Three Predictions (Book 4 Predictions coming soon!)The book will be coming out September 23, 2008!
Today I thought that I would occasionally do book predictions, not only report on books. One of my favorite series is Eragon. The third book should be coming out in maybe a year. Here are some things I think will happen.
Since I now have over 1000 posts and read both books again, I have new ideas. My old list is below.
1. The Green Dragon Rider is Arya because in Deathwatch in Eragon, he sees a male and female boarding a ship with dragons in the sky.It also would make sense because there hasn't been a female rider mentioned, and there hasn't been a new elf rider for a while. A reason that many people say is that Arya also has green magic, and magic color is the same as dragon color. The color of magic means nothing until you have bonded with the dragon.
2.Oromis and Glaeder will die. They are old and Oromis said that he was lucky to live to train Eragon. They are both crippled as well.
3. Roran. He will save Katrina and get married. He will become ruler of Alagaesia because he has blood of the first human king. He is also a natural leader.
4.Eragon will probably bring someone back from the dead through the vault of souls. The other prediction of Solembum's may have already passed. Eragon got his elf-like strength from under the tree. Some of you may say "It was not totaly beneath the tree," but it doesn't have to be under the roots. It neither says that the weapon is a physical weapon.
5.Murtagh somehow turns good and marries Nasuada. They both like each other.
6. Elva has an important role.
7. Saphira and the green dragon mate.
Just To Clear Some Things Up.
1.The next Dragon is Green because CP said so already.
2.The new book does have Glaeder on the cover.
3. CP did not copy Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, many books/movies have similar plots.
4.The title is Brisingr.
5.This is NOT the last book.
Old Predictions
1. Eragon and Roran get Katrina and defeat the Ra 'zak.
2. The Varden get the green egg.
3. Roran hatches the green egg.
4. Eragon completes his training with Oromis.
5. Eragon and Roran get Rider Swords.
6. The two things Solumbum tells Eragon come true.
7. Murtagh MIGHT turn good.
8. Galbatorix is defeated.

i think that eragon will die.but then arya is going to go too the vault of souls and ressurect eragon and saphira. she will have the power to do that because she will already be a rider.

saphira will probably breed with thorn since i saw in this website spoiler that murtagh is on eragon's side again so maybe saphira will breed with Thorn...or i also saw that the egg hatched when arya touched it...so since if they love someone their dragon will share the emotion...eragon will end up with arya and saphira will breed with the newly hatched dragon

i think its obvious that someone close to eragon will die(Arya or Saphira)and that he will attempt to bring that person back.
Roran can't be the next rider cos Saphira says in "eldest" that if saphira/eragon falls in love whit someone, it will affect the other.=)
What if Eragon brought one of the old Riders back like Vrael from the vault of soul? In the book, it said that the only reason that Galbatorix beat Vrael was because of an underhanded trick. If he came back, he might be able to help Eragon beat Galbatorix.
I think that Orik can be a rider because true there have not been a dwarf rider, but it said somewhere in the book dwarfs were apart of it.
i dont think that arya will become the next rider she held on to saphira she didnt hatch for her why would this green one and how would she get it i think the rider of the next dragon is going to be a new character
For all of y'all who're wondering how Roran is royal by blood, remember that all Carvahall residents are descendants of King Palancar (who Palancar Valley was named after.), thus making all residents related to each other in some way, shape, or form.
P.S. Has Galbatorix made Murtagh swear not to kill him? I'm pretty sure that he has, but like all major evil villains, Galbatorix has some major flaws. That could be one that would play a vital role in Eragon (or maybe Murtagh himself) killing Galbatorix.
this is wat i think will happen
1.eragon goes to helgrind with roran and gets attacked by a lethblaka
2.they rescue katrina and at the same time find the green dragon egg
3.they return to the varden and the green egg hatches for arya
4.eragon returns to ellsmerra with arya
5.oromis teaches arya the way of the riders and eragon completes his training
6.oromis dies of his illness
7.eragon finds broms sword under the menoa tree
8.eragon returns to the varden ... and so does arya
9.there is a big war eragon arya murtagh galby have a war and dragons aswell
10.the varden win murtagh turns good and marries nasuada
11.saphira and the green dragon mate
12.arya falls for eragon and they leave to the elves homeland with their dragons
oh and islanzadi dies making arya the ne elven queen

brom is eragon's dad ,arya is green dragon rider, oromis will die, saphira will mate with the green dragon , and broms 7 words were very powerfull spell!!!

1.she is not az buetifull az angela described the women (well as arya)

3.we dont no if she is noble birth (we no arya is )

I think Eragon will find Broms old swored under the mellona tree and use it. This fits because it will match Eragon's blue magic and dragon. Also the wear-cat predicted there would be a wepon under the tree when Eragon has no other this fits because Eragon bother nicked his other one.

and same as nasuada she hardly went in it aswell. so the only female left is pretty much arya
You're predictions are very good. I also think there will be a new rider, although who it will be, i am not sure. I think it is a toss-up between Arya and Roran, though im leaning more toward Arya. It would be too cheesy for Roran to become a rider.
Also, i think Roran or Katrina dies in the third book while fighting the ra'zac, its unlikely that eragon and roran can defeat all four of those violent creatures.
Its likely that Oromis and his dragon die in the third book because both are old and crippled, i believe they die during the battle with Galbatorix.
Murtagh, i think is going to be accostomed to the dark powers and will reign in Galbatorix's place when he is killed. I think Murtagh is to become Eragons new enemy in the third book.
I think Eragon will become the new ruler of Alagaesa.
Eragon fully realizes that it is his path to kill G and despairs that he is still so ill equipped to do so. Yet he must and so he pouts and moans and convices himself he is not up to the task. Finally Solembum responds to Eragon's despair telling him that it's do or die time.
In his despair and with Solembums prodding, Eragon goes to the tree where he not only finds the sword, but also hears the song of ancient, which gives him clarity and renewed hope/purpose.
The sword itself is not a previous riders sword, but that of an ancient elf king - a founders sword. One with it's own magic which fuses with the riders magic, both of the ancient magic. With his clarity of the ancient language, and his new sword, Eragon sets off for the final confrontation with G.
Murtagh and Nasuada become the new royal couple once G is killed. The odd king who is Nasuada's friend is killed or blows himself up finally, the homeless Varden merge with his people, and Roran becomes the new king with Katrina at his side.
Another option here is that the Varden return to Carvahall with Roran and Katrina to build a future in a place to finally call their own.
To kill G, I think his assumed dragon must die 1st. That leaves G in a semi-vulnerable state at the moment it happens, and is the all important an opening for Eragon. All this happens while Murtagh has been sent to kill Orimis and his dragon.
Thorn is nearly killed by Glaedr, leaving Murtgah vulnerable to Orimis, but Orimis no longer has what it takes to finish Murtagh. A stalemate of sorts, Orimis uses to 'educate' Murtagh on the true nature and power of riders. Orimis is unable to save Thorn, but Thorn's last thoughts to Murtagh confirm Orimis's wisdom, and what Murtagh can become in Thorn's death.
When Saphira fixes the crystal, Elva reveals the true destinies of Murtagh and Eragon. When she reveals that Murtagh will be king, there is no small amount of hang him now, but Nasuada see's him for who he can become and declares her support for him. Eragon has a prophecy to fulfill, and does so by rejecting authority for himself and submitting to Arya's authority as the new queen of the elves. In her new role, she is finally able to see him as an equal.
Arya does fall for Eragon, and does become a rider, but also becomes queen... events that keep them apart as mates/lovers. They share a great love, but do not act upon it, at least within the course of this book. The door is left open as to what their future might hold or suggest. They head off into the sunset, with dragons overhead and the story ends.
I think that Arya will become the green dragon rider, she and Eragon will get together and that the premonition Eragon had in dEATHWATCH was him, arya, saphira, green dragon (i think he'll be named Emery)and i think the man on the beach is murtagh. He is screaming because Eragon had to kill Thorn in the process of killing Galbatorix. Anyone else who has acomment on this, please post!!! I know i dont have much evidance, but i got a hunch. Again, your thoughts, please!

i definatly agree that eragon will try to raise someone from the dead. i also think that, somehow, murtagh will fall in love with nasuada, because he seemed quite taken with her when he met her. i think roran will be the next rider, or else he'll be someone else in a position of high authority. oromis will die. galbatorix will, at some point, die. he must.
You guys really get into detail here, don't you? I agree that Elva will be important- maybe even the key to the entire third book, even though it may seem a bit far-fetched. I think that she may be the next rider, possibly. She possesses a great amount of power... power given to her from a rider. Whether a gift, or a curse, I expect great things to come from little Elva...
I have a knack for predicting book series endings. I already have an idea of the last Harry Potter book, but those, I'm keeping for myself, away from any prediction sites...
i disagree with eragon brom is not eragon's dad
I think katrina may be the next rider, while Eragon and roran are saving her they hand her a egg. adn it hatches. OR her curiosity gets to her and she touched one of the eggs, making it hatch... the dragon mates with Sophira... adn katrina falls for eragon.... Roran who has already been made new king, will swear revenge on eragon for stealling his wife(to be)...
Well heres a prediction: the oath breaks for Murtagh because Eragon somehow learns the name of the ancient language besides the name ancient language and forces Galbatorix to reveal his true name and forces Galbatorix to free murtagh and kills him. This might be true cause i mean remember what Brom said when he said 'if you know the name of the ancient language you will control the language and those who use it' so Eragon will not allow Galbatorix to use the ancient language and force him to a physical match where Eragon has the upper hand cause his elf strength from the bloodoath ceremony. murtagh wont be there cause hes to busy fighting the elves (remember they joined forces again) so if thats not correct at least we know Galbatorix will lose definetley. oh and the book better be good i will be so dissapointed i wont read anyone of his books again. oh and maybe its not Broms old sword but Eragon the first riders sword. and are you sure if you break your own oath in the ancient language you die that doesnt sound very reasonable but then it is a book where anything can happen
I think that the last rider will be roran and together, with thier dragons they will form an unbreakable bond that sends Galbatorix to his misery. I also think that Murtaugh will join Eragon and they will free him of his oath to galbatorix.
i think the Galbatorix has unlocked the vault of soul be cause when eragon was sencing murtagh mind he felt more the one he felt houndreds
i really wish that arya becomes the dragon rider but there is a major flaw shes a women and in the history there has never been a women rider hate to spoil the mood.also i think that the new egg hatches for roran.
i think that perhaps eragon will bring both oromis and glaedr back thru the vault of souls. or perhaps someone else that died. but you know, a lot of people have been saying that they think that helgrind *shudder* is the vault of souls, but has anyone noticed that little door shaped structure just south east of helgrind that has no name? there are little foothills around it, and I dont know what it is.

eragon gets a sword made for him under the minora tree and in the valt of souls there are dragon eggs and roan is king and a dragon rider and so is orik and same with aryah when the vault is open eragon unleashes the souls of the fallen dragon riders and in doing that he kills galbatorix buy taking away all his powers.
i think that eragons true name will be the true name of the anchient language and that is how he will find the power to open the vault of souls. also even though i really want arya to fall for eragon and i think that she will i am not to sure, paolini has proved to be really tricky and he might just do something nasty concernigh eragons love life not to mention everything else

I highly doubt this but it is possible for orik to be a rider. Even thought they wern't added into the spell the elves and dragons made, Neither was the first eragon, which means there is a small chance for it to occur.
Has anyone thought mabey nassuada would be the next rider, she seemed super releaved when she sees eragon alive on after the battle. I think it might be more than just a freind. she may have feelings and if she becomes the next rider then eragon would be enflunced into feeling the same way.

but cause murtag robbed zar roc and before that brom had it then wats e called had it couldnt it be poss if murtagh,Brom an wats is name..... urmm murtags dad could be linked with each other like broms, murtaghs uncle so that means broms eragons uncle linking wats is name to Garrow (rorans dad) taking them all together meaning broms wats is names brother. Its a possibility no... scratch that its 100% right cause eragon is linked with murtag rorans linked with eragon (cousins) and garrow is brother to brom and wats is name. and thats my conclusion of part of the book but.... howether Eragon either gets killed and arya brings im back with saphira using so much magic sacrifcing herself . Roran becomes king and falls in love with nasuada they get married. Since brom whispered something in the ancient language to eragon witch i tink is galbatorixes name in the ancient language. Eragon uses that to grab control of galbatorix smashes his mind up makes him speak oaths so that eragon now has galbatorix by his side but still on the good side Shruikein turns out to be the high counciler riders dragon and soon as galbatorix is turned good shruikien dies or heads 4 Islanzadif and it turns out to be her dragon. I havent mentioned that i think jeod has a 34% chance of hatchindg the egg but its a posibility BUT I TINK NASUADA GETS THE EGG CAUSE WEN IN THE 2ND BOOK IT SEZ THAT HER FAVOURITE DRESS WICH SHE MENTIONS WAS (GREEN) was ruined by surdas kig when he spilt a (GREEN) chemical on it goes up in a GREEN flame isnt it a bit obvious. if you look at it from my vie w anyone could get it includin galbatorix

First of all, Brom's sword was brown and so was his dragon. So if it is his sword that Eragon finds it will not be blue. Plus the Solemnbum never says sword, he says weapon, it could be a word in the ancient language, but probably not. It doesn't have to be a sword. As for the Vault of Souls, Eragon will not bring people back from the dead. The first Eragon will speak with Eragon and tell him the name of the ancient language. Eragon will use this to defeat Galbatorix and free Murtagh. Finally, Brom will not be Eragon's father because in the first book, Morzan's sword fit Eragon's hand perfectly, Eragon and Murtagh were perfectly matched when they faught and looked alike, and based on the timing of Eragon's birth, he has to be Morzan's son.
Has any one thought of how the varden is going to steal the egg from the varden.

I think that Selena is still alive. Remember, she was able to use magic and keep herself hidden. Eragon might just be able to meet his own mother. I also think that she hatched her own dragon and flew off to some other land that Arya and Eragon will go to, and that dragons exist somewhere else. Everyones predictions are great! We will just have to wait and read about what happens in the 3rd book. Also, the 3rd book may not be the last in the series. If it is, it will be very long!!! Please comment on this!
the thing is, the last rider of the green egg will probably not be roran, but arya. also, i believe that under the menoa tree is the true name of the ancient language and eragon will use that secret to destroy galbatorix. i believe that oromis will die protecting eragon from galbatorix or murtagh. i am 99.9% sure that murtagh will escape galbatorix's clutches by fiding out his true name with the help of eragon, saphira, and even thorn.
Eragon, Nasuada, and Murtagh will be caught unintentionally in a love triangle.
Even though this might seem crazy, try to find one problem with this prediction:
Katrina will get the 3rd egg to hatch for her, she does have the spirit and the drive of a rider. After spending time together, Eragon starts to fall in love with her. She could be a descendent of King Palancer, making her of royal birth. Finally, when eragon leaves Alegsia, Roran is screaming because the love of his life was stolen from him and will never return.

I have read few amazing decipherings from somewhere.. here it goes.
The riddle that bladgeon(or whatever the name of bird of islanzadi is)..said to eragon about son and father both blind as bats.. refers to Eragon being son of Brom and not of morzan. Yes!! It is true that you can lie in ancient language but as Islanzadi said to Eragon in eldest when he was writing the poem that you can lie but if you feel it is true by all means than you can say that... And I believe that Murtag believes it that because galbatorix said so off the scrying done by the twins which said that eragon is son of selena. It does not mean he is son of Morzan!! Remember the next riddle...
"One is one and one may be two " regarding parents of eragon.. that fits into the theory of one mother but two fathers..morzan and brom...
May be when Selena left the castle she fell in love with Brom.. this can be true as CP is from USA :)...
.. Regarding the weapon at the roots of menova tree.. by that he means tha roots of the family of elves... there are two familys that hold the remaining two swords of the riders.. so Eragon should go to them and get Brom's sword which is blue in color and matches Saphira's color and color of his magic making him stronger...
Thats it for now.. egerly waiting for book 3!!! Green dragon will hatch to Arya as there is no time for training some one for ancient language and magic and stuff... So it will be an Elf who already knows stuff...

Well, regarding all the predictions about the weapon under the mellona tree, didn't that already come true when he was healed and made all elf-like? I always figured that was the "weapon" Solembum was referencing, the fact that he gained all the physical abilities of an elf as well as being made whole again.
I think that the new rider is not going to be someone we have met before. I don't have anything to back me up and if i am wrong then you can laugh at me
I haven't read all the predictions but i have read a lot of them and i must say, there are some great ideas. Some are just stupid though(no offence). Like the whole needing Rider blood to be a Rider. Thats not true. If the dragon in the egg likes you, or thinks you are the best suited Rider from them then it will hatch. it has nothing to do with blood. CP clearly explains this. Also, why is everyone so sure that Brom's Saphira was blue, and Eragon will get his lost blue sword? I've read both Eragon and Eldest countless time and can't recall it ever saying that Brom's Saphira was blue. The closest thing that i can think of that would idicate her colour was at the start of Eragon when we are told Brom puts his sword into a BROWN sheath. He may have lost his rider sword but he would still have the sheath. Why else would CP point out the colour of Brom's sheath if not to let us know the colour of his dragon.
Also, the Elven sword maker, Rhunon, talks about "those muddy brown dragons" when admiring Saphira's scales. Brom seems to me like the sort of person that would have one of those brown dragon. it suits his character.
This would mean then that the weapon under the Menoa tree isn't a blue rider sword, or a least not Brom's anyway.

there were references that once eragon gave roran's a stone similar to the one that he found in the forest , and roran kept it. I think it was in the first book ( DUH) the sword he will gain is near that tree in Ellesméra , Solembum told the riddle to eragon . So many expectations for the third book =D interesting fight isn't it ? Galbatorix and Murtaugh against Roran and Eragon . think Glaedr and Oromis will join the fight ? haha stay well
I think that eragon will bring back Vrael the rider's leader because he was the only one strong enough to defeat galbatorix. that way eragon oromis vrael and the new rider will defeat galbatorix.
All right people, a word of advice, don't go writing the same things that other people have wrote like,

Arya's the next rider
Roran's going to become king
Okay, it is getting on my nerves and please read the blog before you write a blog, because when I go to see this blog I look at is and it's all the same book, thank you.
i think that the vault of souls is whats providing murtaug and galbatorix with so much power so when eragon opens it all the souls will get out and murtaug and galbatorix won't have so much power. it is also possible that eragon will bring brom back to life using it
ok so...brom is eragon's father. done deal. the egg is green. again done deal. the most likely new rider is arya because
A. she can already fight (little trianing needed)
B. she can already use magic.
C.she sooo obiously has feelings for eragon so if the green dragon mates w/ saphira it would be the epic romance solombum spoke of.
The wepon under the monoa tree. it COULD be broms. but i think more likely is that it is just a wepon of some sort.
Also the vault of soals is where murtagh and dear 'ol Gal is getting all of his power. b/c breafly eragon got into murtagh's mind and decribed it as "as if contained multitudes; scores od distinct vioces wispered in the caverns of his mind, like imprisoned spirits begging for release" page: 640. the ra'zac's kill each year increases and gets placed into the vault of soals (hence the name) where GAL absorbs the power, each year growing stronger. he feeds off of the soals power.
Broms seven words he whispered before his death is either
A. a VERY power full spell
(a spell needed to kill GAL)
B. GALS true name (unlikely tho)
C. eragons true name (again unlikely)
C. a secret of the ancient lang. (that GAL doesn't know)
Eragon HAS to find out the name of the ancient LAng. and use it to unleash murtagh of his vows.
GAL is supposed to be like THE most brilliant person EVER, but i'm disappointed. if he is SOOOO brilliant why didn't he just fly to the war at the dwarves capital and kill EVERYONE? seriously tho. he could have just saved himself all this trouble and killed all his enemies...or almost all of them and leave them so weak and strike surda later that week? take over surda. take over the dwarves. and draw all info of the elves out of arya. why delay meating w/ arya a week? wasn't she already in the capital's prison? you think he wouldn't want to risk her getting away. i think he is arogent and the varden need to realize that and take advantage of that.
also i think the leader of the "black hand" of w/e it's called is the leader of du vrangr Grata: Trianna. she wanted to show eragon in the first book how to summon spitits and stuff...she wanted to turn eragon into a shade!! let the spirits he summond be stronger than him and turn on him. plus i dislike her and she is annoying and she acts really...i don't know, shady? maybe.
i think that all of you guys and girls had good predictions but i just hope that the book is isn'tso predictable and there is a big twist and i hope roran wiibecome the next dragon rider

I think it would be cool if Orik will be the first dwarf rider. and Roran will become king of Alagaesia after Galbatorix dies.
I really can't say until Christopher Paolini writes his next book.

i think that murtagh will die thus releasing him from his oath to galbatorix. then i think that eragon will go to the soul thing and bring back murtagh back to help him kill Galbatorix. as for the rest i am not sure, idk this could be way off but thats ok b/c thats what i think!!!

I think Eragon will mate Arya and have a child. Eragon will find the sword under the tree and will defeat Galbatorix with it. Elva shall become a dragon rider with the last dragon. Murtagh will be killed.
I think that the next rider could be a few people. Eragon could speak his name to the vault of souls and bring back Brom. Then the next egg could hatch for brom.
Arya, and Roran both have good chances too. Arya because shes and elf, and uses green magic (color of the egg) and Roran because hes got Eragon's, Murtagh's, and Morxan's blood. (He could also be the next king). Orik just because it hasnt happen to a dwarf also has a chance. And the last person could be Angela just because shes Angela. Right befor Brom died he told Eragon some ancient words of great power. He could possible use those to go back in to right before the fall and change the past.
I think that ergan will die. orik will be assasinated evil will win and all ur preditions will be false.
I have a really crazy prediction. Just suppose SLOAN is Eragon's father! Like, maybe he bedded Selena or something as a distraction after his first wife died, so Katrina is Eragon's half-sister or something! Then he found out that she was already married with a kid--Murtagh, obviously--and he killed her out of rage after Eragon was born. After all, nobody really knows how or why Selena died. That would be why he treats Eragon like trash--he loves him as his own son, but thinks of him as nothing more but the son of a cheater.

OKay, I think that murtaugh, and galbatorix both are able to absorb spirits. In eldest, eragon hears multitudes of voices when he tries to enter murtaghs mind. I think the reason he is so strong, and galbatorix keeps getting stronger is they are using energy from souls, that they get from the vault of souls. When eragon and roran rescue katrina, they find the vault of souls in the razacs layer, and the third egg is in there. Therefore arya(the third rider) and eragon have the same power galbatorix and murtagh have, and since they are both already stronger than murtagh, defeat him, then galbatorix
i dont think Arya will be a dragon rider. she just doesnt really look like a dragon rider or act like one. but i think the other predictions might come true and Murtag has to be good cause he doesnt want to be evil.

as much as i would love to see eragon adn arya fall in love i think it is to obvious. thus i think that when eragon goes to the soul place it wil be affter teh battle with galbatorix and eragon wil bring back aryas faolin that died. i think that eragons vision of the people on the boat was arya leaving with fasolin on the boat with the rest of the elves to go back to wehre they came from. i also think that the person that was all sad in that vision was eragon because arya left without him. then i think that eragon will fly away to find more dragons!

Empire is'nt the name for the next book because the first two book's titles involved something to do with the riders. In the first book ERAGON it his name. In the second book it involved the fact that Murtagh was the ELDEST brother! So the title of the next book has to do with love. Why, because either Katrina, Ayra, or Nasuda will be the next rider.
I think that the vault of souls is something thats in your mind. Not a real vault, because when Murtagh was flying with thron eragon was able to get into murtagh's mind and said it felt like there were many souls in his mind. I also think that all vaults have a password. I think that when eragon fighs galbatorix he is going to have to get into his mind and say eragon, and open the vault of souls making them equely mached.
I think that Eragon goes to the Manoa Tree and finds the name of the ancient language and he will need to open the vault of souls to be able to harness the power of the name.

I'm not positive, but give it a thought: The Rider of the third Dragon could be Elva. She was marked by saphira with spot on her forehead that looked like eragons Gedwey ignasia. She is also aged ver rapidly, and very mature and smart. the spell Eragon cast over her also makes her know when people are in danger. these are good rider traits. just think about it and re-read the chapters dealing with Elva.

Someone close to Eragon did already die, it was Brom.
Galbatorix would not make Murtagh swear to kill Eragon in the Aincient Launguage because he wants Saphira to breed with the last dragon. If a rider is killed the dragon dies soon too, the opposite is not true. Eragon could die in the end though, like some of the books or movies from myths or made up stories. Gladiator the movie, great seller and great hit, Like Inheritancee, the Gladiator dies, but kills his enemy first. Harry Potter, Dumbledore dies, and he was a HUGE part of the book, same with Surius Black. Eragon culd easily be killed off.
Also I agree that Arya will not be the rider because of the Saphira not hatching in her hands.
Murtagh would not be a good king because he is too bloodthirst and ruthless, like when he cut the mans head off. So he probably won't be.

I think that Galbatorix will die somehhow. Eragon will lose someone close to him but saphira i dont think can die because normally the rider dies if the dragon dies i think if i remember right because i havent read the book ofr a few months. Then also if Arya dies and she is the dragon rider wouldn't her dragon die before Eragon could bring her back to life?? So then there would be only like 2 riders not 3 like everyone is saying. So either Arya might die before she gets the egg and when she is brought back she gets the egg or Roran dies and eragon brings him back to life. I agree with the theory that Brom is Eragon's Father, that Selena hid the fact she was pregnant and was right about the fact that Morzan would kill Eragon as he would know he wasn't the father. There isn't proof that Eragon's mother is dead so she may reappear to tell him the truth about his Father. Who named Eragon except for his Mother and Brom who knew of the Ancient Elf.
Eragon will learn magic needed from the ancient grey people who sealed that type of magic.
The theories about Wild Dragons will be confirmed by Saphira and Eragon.
I like the Happy Ending rather about the Dragons and Eragon/Arye all being bound, So happy would the ending be. Maybe too much to be expected, but do not give up hope.
While Eragon and Roran save Katrina they steal the green egg - who to hatch it? Only someone with knowledge of the elves and language will hatch it as it will be too long to wait til Roran or Katrina or the changling to be trained as Eragon had been.
The way Murtagh is released from his binding with Galbatorix is thru Galbatorix's Death, then Murtagh will go protect the Varden. Shruikan will help defeat Galbatorix as he continues to hate him for killing his rider. Releasing Shruikan possibly? Or killing him because of the Ancient Language Binding him.
What of the Changling's Silver Dragon Mark on her forehead? What good is she to do? Gladyr and Orimmis? Again Speculation, But I like the Theory about the Original Eragon and his sword Theory, That Saphira knows what Brom's last words were and will tell Eragon.
I cannot wait for the 3rd book, I do however wish I would be able to sleep after starting it, the last 2 I have read cover to cover without putting it down save to tend to my younglings. I read it to them as they are equally intrigued.
I know the movie left out alot of the first book, but I have yet to see a movie made as long as a book. I am so thankful I watched the movie before reading Eragon and Eldest as I was instantly seeing and feeling more when I read the books. Many of the Characters came alive for me, others not shown in the movie I have vivid accounts of what they look like and am thankful to Christopher for sharing his mind with us.
Ok, seriously i think everyones predications are things they WANT to happen. I'm pretty solid in my predictions, and i have read this whole blog, all 1126 comments, seriously it's taken me a whole day (I'm a fast reader). Ok so lets clear up a few things first;
1.Brom actually did say those 7 words, Eragon heard them and so forth. So there will be no part of the third book about Eragon learning the 7 words brom told him.
2.Elves don't marry, So of course Eragon and Arya wont marry.
3.Eragon won't die in the book becasue Angela's prediction states that he will live an abnormally long life (longer than an averages humans life i expect she meant).
So they are facts, you can look them all up in the books.
Ok so here are some predictions of mine.
Riders:
Arya:
I personally don't think it's Arya becasue it's such an obvious thing to do and it's really not that exciting, And there isn't even that much proof pointing to her being the next rider, sure her magic is green but Christopher P. has already said that teir magic changes to match their dragon. She seems a likely candidate but in truth i think she is just not the right person.
Roran: Ok seriously people, Roran? Once again he is an ideal choice but really guys! There are reasons why i think he would not work out as a rider.
a) He's devoted to Katrina, I doubt the connection between him and his dragon would be very stable becasue of his love for Katrina.
Katrina: Katrina is actually a good guess, I'm not quite sure i follow the logic beindher thoguh but it's nice hearing an opinion other than Roran and Arya.
I'm not sure she has the will power or determination, or in fact the abilites to be a rider. Katrina strikes me as the kind of person who would be happy living in a nice small undisturbed village tucked away somewhere safe with a loving, caring husband who own a properous farm/business and a child/children to look after. But she does have some admirable qualities that she has exhibited, like the fact that she fought back when the Ra'zac stole her and also that she has remained alive for that whole time, i'm sure the Ra'zac have been itching to bite into her flesh ( a farily grotesque thought). Imagine what it would do to your mental state.
Elva:
Methinks she would be the best guess, she wears the mark of the riderson her forhead yet she is not a rider. Strange. And at the rate she is developing, methinks she is the most probable guess.
Orik: Dwarves were not part of the blood-oath by choice, i think it was. Forgive me if i am wrong. And also i doubt that Orik has any inclination to be a rider.
Angela: All i'm going to say is: No.
Somebody totally new: Yay, this next to Elva is what i think is the best situation. It seems likely that Eragon might meet someone new who has some potential, befriend them, the person accompanies him on his exploits, touches egg and a new rider emerges.
Now That FINALLY Have the next rider out of the way. I'd now like to address some other issues.

ok-- Arya and Eragon wont get together (as much as i wish they would) because they are just too far apart age wise.
I think that Eragon has already lost the someone close to him that the cat thingy predicted, when brom died, because brom was still alive when the cat thing (sorry i forgot it's name) gave that prediction.
Galbatorix will die- obviously- and I think that Eragon and Saphira will do what Eragon had promised Saphira and after they defeat the empire- they will leave Alagasia and find Saphira someone to mate with.
But yes-- i do think that Eragon will leave Alagasia in the end to find his next adventure.
As for Brom- i don't think that he will be risen from the dead because Chris Paolini has already said that he killed Brom off because he needed Eragon to become a man by himself.
I think that eragon (in the end after defeating the empire) will look at arya in the eyes and say that he will always love her, and he and Saphira will ride off to find new places and adventures outside of Alagasia.
Oh-- and Murtaugh will become good now that he and Eragon are brothers. (Which i swear to god on my dog's grave that i had predicted half-way through the second book) there were so many clues that it was almost hard not to figure it out!

I think everyone knows that galbatorix is going to die so stop saying it over and over again. Arya will become the new rider because her magic is green and so is the dragon and it would fill the prophecy eragon has in the first book. Roran has to become the king after galbatorix dies.Because he's a good leader and would do anything for his people.
Another part I have to comment on is when Eragon asks Orrim about believing if a soul leaves the body and a supreme being. Orrim says it is not right for more than one soul to occupy a body.
Truth about how the dark power is so strong would be many of the souls stolen when you speak their ancient names at the stone. The souls do not want to be there but are trapped and the power is drawn from them.
I just wish there was a release date for the 3rd book...
What would be in the letter Jeod tells Roran of? His truth about his Fathering Eragon? Is Selena truely dead?

Okay, i know this probably won't happen but what if Faolin wasn't her love, what if he was her brother, I mean think about it, it's quite possible that he was her brother, but probably her love, i hope he's just her brother, cause i'm just not a big fan of when the guy dies and the the girl falls in love with somelse. But unfortaunately Faolin is probably her husband. also eragon murtaugh and nasuada might be brother and sister, she's like in between there ages so it could make sense, and she has the aspects of the rider, unfortuanately i also want her and murtaugh to fall in love or maybe have a love traingle with eragon and murtaugh, so she can't be their sister. oh well i guess i'll jsut have to wait untill the third book comes out! one more thing i really don't want eragon to bring soemone back from the dead, it just sounds dumb, espicially if it's ayra, because it would be too much like Beren and Luthien, except it's the other way around, and the Valar bring Beren back from the dead. By the way Beren and Luthien are in the Simmilarion it's a great book, and i have to say it's better then eragon. oh and the valar are these like gods, okay this is stupid, this is a eragon blog not a Tolkien blog. ok so me and a friend were talking and we agree the next rider will be a girl. But we think it will be a whole new charactor. We also think that she will be Erogon and Murtaghs sisster or half sisster and that she will have some elvan backround. ether she is a middle child or the yungest. and we think Murtagh becomes good.
I think you might be right! Arya will get the green dragon. And Roran is to become a king he first need to became a dragon rider. And as a king he will need a strong dragon too. Now we all know that of all of the dragons in history the strongest dragon is the Red dragon. Which I think Roran should or will get. If Eragon is going to bring someone back from the dead, it's going to be either Arya, Saphira or Roran. But for now all we can do is wait for the book to come out.

Just out of curiousity, what happened to using good old fashioned punctuation and correct spelling? Some of these posts are exceedingly hard to understand amidst the run-on sentances and mis-spelled words.
Aside from that, I agree with a good number of the opinions that have been voiced thus far. In my opinion, there is unequivacolly going to be a third dragon within the pages of the third book, but my guesses are measured as to whether it will be Arya or Roran who is the next rider. I am personally leaning towards Arya. Furthermore, there are a lot of loose ends that CP needs to tie up in this last installment, such as the one's concerning Solembum's prophecies and Elva. On that note, I believe that the 'great weapon' beneath the Manoa Tree is the name of the ancient language that Brom tells Eragon would be a word of great power. That is the only weapon that I can think of within the context of the book that would be of sufficient strength to do any real damage against Galbatorix's might; just food for thought (the Manoa Tree is supposed to be as old as time, right, so it would be a fitting place for the name to be)...but I guess we'll all have to wait until the book comes out for us to be sure.
due to some investigation of some interviews CP gave i don't thin Arya will be the next dragon rider, CP hs confirmed that the dragonriders magic will turn the same color of the dragonscales, so just because Aryas magic is already green it doesn' meen it has to be her (thik about Eragon he didn't even know about magic before he met Brom).
The Varden will suffer a defeat, and Nasuada will be assasinated or in some other way taken away from the leadership of The Varden, an after that Roran will take over the lead and continue the fight against the rule of galbatorix.
When it comes to Saphira and findig a mate i don't think it will happen, because she will get killed, and the end of dragonriders will be.
and since i do not think it is one of those normal books like LOTR, or Harry Potter, i belive that in some way Eragon will be defeated and Arya aswell since she shows him her feelings and goes to battle with him. And through Galbatorix' never ending tries to revive Saphira, and make the dragon line continue, he will die.
Murtagh will be the next ruler of Alagaesia and will be in an endless battle against Roran and The Varden who is getting assistance from dwarfss and elves.

I think that Katrina will hatch the next egg and become a slave of Galbatorix and Roran is forced to kill or confront her. Eragon and Saphira will go back for more training and orimis will not be able to help them much mroe so Eragon is trained by Arya and they fall in love more.
I don't know if anyone has written this idea down yet but you know how Eragon's a copycat. Well you know how Luke leaves his training with Yoda to go help Hon and Lea (I have no idea if I'm spelling this right) and he fights Darth Vader. Eragon leaves his training to go help Nausawada and he fight Maurtagh.

Do you think it's possible that Murtagh is the vault of souls? I've heard that he already has voices and stuff in him. or maybe it's Galbatorix who is the vault of souls. He did grow more powerful after he beheaded the one rider, could that be because he got his soul when he died? Anyway, I think the VOS is a person. Maybe the menoa tree will shed some light on the subject for Eragon. I don't know, it's just a theory. for all we know Eragon could realize he's been wearing ruby slippers the whole time and all he needs to say is "there's no place like home"and tap them together to kill all his foes.
I heard on this website that C.P said that no one will be brought back to life, so why is it such a popular idea? Just wondering.
Anyway, i think that Murtagh will defy Galby in the end, and risk his life to save Eragon's. Eragon manages to kill Galby and, amazingly, Murtagh is still alive. Eragon, with the help of Saphira, heals Murtagh and gets him out of there.
BUT, i think that Thorn will die during the battle against Galbatorix. But, they get the last dragon egg out of the castle, and Murtagh picks it up. Guess what i think is going to happen? The egg will hatch for Murtagh! ^^
As for Eragons dream (Or premonition, whatever you want to call it) I think that it will be Murtagh and Arya leaving on the ship, and that it will be Eragon screaming. And one dragon will be the Green one, although i haven't gotten as far as to tell which is the second one ^^'

how everyone is saying eragon will brong back someone from the dead i think it may end up being someone totally unexpected, maybe even brom and his dragon. i also think even though itll be hard for him, eragon may wind up having to kill murtagh.
The rider of the green dragon egg is MOST LIKELY going to be a woman. The dragon/rider bonding theme really sets in stone that the last dragon rider is going to be female. That leaves only three POSSIBLE candidates:
1) Arya (most likely)
2) Nasuada (unlikely, but she is the second most developed woman in the book so she has a shot)
3) It might be a character not introduced yet into the story, which is probably the least likely candidate
i think that it is quite possible that tornac (murtagh's trainer) was shruikhan's origional rider because you cannot keep a dragon alive if its rider is killed. i think twice tornac was thought to be killed but could not be because as long as galbatorix was alive, tornac could not die (possibly because of some sort of spell).
therefore, i conclude if eragon (or other) kills galbatorix, shruikan will be released from galbatorix's spell and tornac will be reunited with shruikan.
okay here are how things are gonna work. Arya will be the next dragon rider. its just gotta happen. Her eyes are green, her magic is green, the dragon's green, and in eragon's vision there were two people holding hands with dragons flying nearby. that is enough proof for me. Roran is going find Katrina, kill the razac and become the next King of Alagaesia because he is the big leader in his parts in the story and he has the first king's bloodline. This is how the vault of souls might work. Somehow Eragon finds the vault of souls also Arya is there. Arya dies(not sure how) and Eragon is very upset, so he brings her back to life. Yeah. Then they find the green egg and Arya gets it to hatch. Now we have two riders on the good side. Sapphira will mate with the green dragon and that will make the bond between Eragon and Arya deeper causing them to fall in love. Galbatorix will be killed maybe by Roran or possibly (not probably) by Murtagh. Then when all is said and done Eragon will release the spell he put Elva. Murtagh will somehow come out all right in the end, he will find a way to escape Galbatorix and he might overthrow him. He might also die. Not sure about that one though. Also the next dwarf king will be orik because Hrothgar made him the heir. Brom is also Eragon's father. Murtagh can't lie in the Ancient Language, but he can say what he believes is true and he just assumes that because his mother is the same as eragon's then the father is also the same. But you can tell that there was something in the way Brom spoke about Eragon's mother that there was more to the story. And edventually Eragon will find Brom's sword and claim his inheritance. The roots of the Menoa tree, idon;t know abpout that one, it could be the actual roots or the family of the girl who formed it. Eragon will also find out what his true name is. They might be Brom's final words.
I think your predictions are spot on. I finished reading the book for the Fourth time which doesn't make me a die hard but still super excited for the next book. I believe that the vault of souls will be on the ancient dragon isle of Vroengard. Here, I think Eragon will fight Galbatorix in the process of trying to bring someone back to life. That is my only add on to all of your predictions. :)
ok well i dont think eragon and arya will get married or togetha and i hope muratgh doesnt die and roren and katrina becccome rulers but eragon finds a new love saphira mates with thorn or the green dragon and i think the book WILL be called eldest because galbatorix is the eldest dragon rider or something like that.. yep ok
I think the part about eragon bringing someone back to life is totally true, but i think it will be someone totoally unexpected, maybe even brom and his dragon. The part of arya being the next rider is totally believable too.
I have millions of predictions for the 3rd book but I have decided to keep it short. My first prediction for the third book is that Roran will end up becoming a permanent member of the varden. I also think that Arya will become the next dragonrider. Another thing that I predict for the next book is that Murtagh will break away from Galbatorix's side and return to the varden. Another prediction I have is that the villagers of Carvahall will end up staying forever with the villagers of the Varden. I'm sure that Galbatorix will die at some point. Those are just a few of my predictions for the 3rd book of the series. I Can't wait to read the next book.

I love the way u think about the hundreds of eggs and all but eragons master must die dosnt he say that he is lucky to even train him? anyway.... hw will ether try to reson with murtagh butalf to kill him. and when he kills murtaghThis will infuriatgalbortrix and cause him to leave his crib and start the next war... and that is were he will kill galbortrix and loose arya or saphira. then he will go to the vault of soulsand retreive arya\saphira but have to pay a consiquence witch will ether be a loved one or himself.
i don't think that arya can become a rider... although she is an elf, i can't recall the books ever saying she had rider bloodlines. i may have missed something but this new line of riders has formed because they had rider in their blood... hence the name inheritance maybe i don't know? i doubt it's roran as well, cus i don't know of any rider blood on his side of the family tree. there might be another heir to the rider line... galbatorix could have a son/daughter cus we little of his personal life... or eragon and murtagh could have another sibling but that would have been discovered when the twins discovered murtagh's and eragon's connection unless the person was protected by great ammounts of magic... brom might even have a child... i don't know... but i think that galbatorix will betray murtagh and kill thorn during the final battle then eragon will kill galbatorix by using magic and energy taken from murtagh because although murtagh swore loyalty to galbatorix, he never swore NOT to help eragon, if he had, he would have had to bring eragon to galbatorix when they had met of the battle field. sadly, i have a terrible fealing, and i fear that, if this happens, murtagh will die when eragon takes his energy since murtagh will probably no longer care of his life because his dragon was lost and will give all energy to eragon. this would allow eragon to be able to weaken galbatorix's magical defenses and be able to extract all of galbatorix's energy as well. galbatorix's energy and memories would give eragon enough knowledge and power to not need training and bring brom back to life. and, knowing eragon as a good hearted person, will probably bring back brom's dragon (saphira), murtagh, and thorn back as well but this is just wishful thinking.
but someone mentioned galbatorix's true name will have something to do with his downfall. the only way i can think of is if eragon goes to the vault of souls, speaks to brom. brom knew galbatorix inside and out when they were younger, therefor, brom could know galbatorix's true name and tell eragon what it is, this is what brom was trying to tell eragon when he died. but we must also remember! brom told saphira many important things that she has yet to reveal! if she knew galbatorix's name, she would have told eragon i hope. but brom had told her that morzan and murtagh where eragon's kin. that's why she avoided his gaze when he questioned her certainty of why brom never told eragon who his parents were. but that might not be the only piece of information that brom made her swear not to tell until the proper time. since the name eragon has a lot of importance in these books, maybe galbatorix's real name is eragon? the odds of that are about the same as eragon dying before galbatorix falls (little to none). but these are just the ideas that i have and i can't wait to read your replies and that book to come out!
I think that the 4. prediction is not right! Eragon won't ressurect someone from the dead.The vault of souls isnt for that! Eragon will propapbly take power from it.Galbatorix gets stronger and stronger every day because he has a vault where he holds the souls of other riders that were killed (including Morzan) and other people too,and he drains power from the vault every day! Eragon,along with the power that he took from the vault of souls,will be able to use the seven words that Brom told him he must use when he is in GREAT danger.They are the name of the ancient language. With that something will happen and he will destroy Galbatorix.

I think that Katrina will be the next rider because Roran will die saving Eragon from the king so she will want to be a dragon rider and help others. Eragon and Arya will most likley only be freinds and since Katrina Will become royal he will fall in love with Katrina. BUT, will not wed Katrina because she would be a widow after Roran`s death.
I think that the man screaming on the beach in Eragon's dream, Deathwatch, is Roran. I mean, the people leaving are probably Eragon & Arya going to Alalea, the elves ancestral home over the sea. Roran likes Eragon. Roran will miss him.Period.
possibly katrina will turn out to be the 5th dragon rider, if not she at least will lead to the dragon egg landing in good (most probly varden) hands. in this way roran also might end up being the dragon rider if he is to save her. also katrinas death by g'trixs hand might lead roran- the dragon rider- to the path of vengence. also ajihad might be alive and in captive

I think it is likly that morzan is not eragons father but brom is. It explains why eragon has riders blood. its is also linked to broms last words. he may be tellin him he is his father.It is again liknked to the valt of souls. he will find out his last words from ither a letter or somone close to brom. he will then try to bring him back from the dead. as for ayre i agree with the prediction that she is the rider of thegreen dragon, she has green magic (this is one clue to wether she is already). i also think eragon might summon orismon or whatever his name was(didnt have time to look back in eldest)from the dead and his dragon as well. elva could possibly be a rider as well when she gets older=possibly sahpira's egg. those are my suggestions.

Brom could be eragons father, it would make a LOT of sense. but then again where would the connection between Murtagh and him come in? they are SO much alike, like when they fight, they were almost equal (before the little kidnapping incident).

I think,
Eragon will definatly go back to the vault of souls for sure. However he will not bring saphira back (she probably wont die anyway) he will most likley bring brom back ( who may get the next dragon) or galbatorix's greatest nemis the former ruler of riders, vrael. Vrael will probably beat the heck out of galbatorix and eragon will finish em off.

I think that Eragon will finally defeat Galbatorix in the middle. Then the rest of the book we will learn about Eragons history will the characters battle out the new power situation and how Eragon will be faced with having to become the king. I think that Eragon will transfer the power to Roran who will build up the kingdom. Eragon will build up forces will his old enemies, The elf community, the dwarf king, and Arya who take his side and defeat Galbatorix. Arya will never get married, but will find the dragon egg and helf Eragon build up the Riders. Then the elf community, the dwarf kingdom and king-sorry, queen, the riders, and roran and his new kingdom will all join forces and rule forever

Have you noticed that on the Eragon movie official website it shows you who Katrina and the Twins are played by, yet they don't appear in the movie. Mabey it's just me, but I find it quite strange.

Ok. first of all, most of you use absolutely appalling grammer and spelling. As far as book 3 predictions, I am pretty sure that Roran will not be a dragon rider. You have to consider his character's development throughout the series. He has always been a reluctant leader, but a very good one. Also, he has always been a little afraid of dragons and the idea of magic, as evidenced by the scene in which Eragon spoke directly to Roran's mind. Finally, Roran is much too narrowly focused. Throughout both books, he is only concerned with Katrina. He only leads the villagers because he feels obligated to. Basically, Roran is too emotional to be a rider. I think it is much more likely that after the war, when Eragon and the new rider (probably Arya) kill Galbatorix, the riders will leave Alagaesia for the land of the grey folk, and Roran will be made king.
I also think it is very likely that Brom is Eragon's real father. Granted, Murtaugh said that Morzan was Eragon's father in the ancient language, and yes it is impossible to lie in the ancient language, but as another incredibly perceptive blogger stated, Murtaugh could just believe that Morzan is Eragon's father. As I'm sure you remember from Eldest, the only proof Murtaugh had, was that they had the same mother.

Clearly Arya will be the last rider. It has been revealed that the last dragon is green and that the rider's magic is the same color as the dragon......that surely makes sense. Arya may die but then Eragon will probably bring her back to life (why else was bringing people back to life even mentioned?). Then probably by using the weapon from the tree, Eragon will defeat both Murtaugh (who is partially good) and Galbatrix. In the end, they probably decide that they must leave the land to preserve dragons or something. That way the prophecy is fulfilled that Eragon will leave forever. Roran will simply rescue Katrina and get married and probably become lord of humans. He isn't the Rider type.
It's a nice book. Even though it "copies" the star wars plot with lord of the rings settings it's still nice. Lots of books are similar.
Well, think about it. How can Eragon bring whole armies back from the Vault of Souls? If Eragon could bring anyone back from the vault of souls, why wouldn't he bring back Ajihad, Garrow, Brom, Vrael, Selena (Eragon's Mother) and all the old Riders. And why did Solembum tell Eragon of a power so Mighty? If I were Eragon, I would bring back Morzan, and then stab him repeatedly after he was "reborn" and repeat it for revenge.

OK so i think that the new rider will be Arya as the vision of two people leaving on a boat and if saphira and the the green dragon mate it will make there love stronger and they will eventually kill galbatorix as Arya and eragon will become stronger by the lessons with oromis, and releasing murtaghs oath, he will let them kill galbatorix so he is free. either that or roran will go with them trying to find katrina and will kill murtagh himself as murtagh said in the ancient language that he will not kill roran.

Saphire will be the mother of a new race of dragons and then will be hatched. saphira or roran will die and eragon will try and bring them back from the vault of souls.
i also think that Arya's friend who creates the swords will make Eragon or the new rider armore the same way she smiths their swords. as their swords are unbreakable their armore will also be unbreakable so they will only die by magic or by the face. Eragon will find one of the original riders swords under the Anora tree wich will most likely be broms as his dragon was blue and the riders sword is the same colour as the dragon. Brom has to be Eragons father i cant stand it if Morzan was
i think that the film was rubbish, so much was missed out. what happened to the twins and if there are no twins then roran cant kill then with his hammer and save the Varden in the war in the next book. there is no visions about two people leaving on the boat. so for the next films there is still going to be so much missed out.
Any way about book 3 i see in another comment that it says book 3 is actually going to be called BALEDR or something like that and that arya is the new dragon rider but how would u know that when in the latest christopher paolinis interview was said that their is not yet a name for it but he is leaning towards using EMPIRE
ithink elva is going to be the next dragonraider becouse of eragons dream and becouse she allrady has the blue spot.But her dragon is going to be killed by Galbatorix and Eragon will bring him back.Murtag will turn good after Galbatorix death,marry Nazuada and both will rule the varden.

ok this is gonna sound weird but wat if in stead of a sword or weapon like that under the menoa tree in stead its the name for the ancient language or gallbatorix's name in the al that or one of the words brom told eragon when he died and he just never got the chance to use them

i think nasuada will becomke queen pf alageasia, and allk other varden leaders will become important parts of the government. i also think that arya and earagon will marry. and what proof is there that arya could be the next rider?
i think it will turn out that brom is really eragons father and eragon will find his sword under the menoa tree bcause selembolm said he would find a weapon there and angela told him that one of the things brom failed in was he loved a woman and it was her undoing
one tiny little question,
If you don't know something is a lie can you still say it in the ancient language.
Cause if thats true then Murtaugh could have been lied to about Morzan being Eragon's father and he could still have said it in the ancient language.
In my opinion the fact that true name of the ancient language will come into play somewhere. Personally I think that Galbatorix knows the true name of the ancient language, which would explain why he has been able to get more powerful as he has aged. If I remember correctly the subject came up during the second novel while Oromis was training Eragon, and Oromis told Eragon that that knowledge would have to wait.
I think it likly that nasuada will die and Eragon will take control of the Varden. Plus i am curious as to why galbatorix lost his army in the spine...possibly dragons? possibly CP forgot about that and is gunna have to make a quick explaination in the 3rd book? we shall see.
if u look in the chapter in eragon you see all the dragon have th letter R in their names and even riders EG
